Facebook is down and many people are getting error messages

Like a lot of people, I have been unexpectedly logged out of Facebook this morning. I get error messages when I try to log back in. Google says it is down. I'm just curious if anyone else is having this problem?

The information I saw on Google is that there's no information on when the problem will be fixed. Hooray for DU.

I was afraid my page had been hijacked and stolen, again, as had happened a couple of years ago. Facebook, naturally did nothing about that.

The toilet is plugged and the sewer is backed up.

It has been pointed out that today is Super Tuesday. I don't know if the outage has any connection, but the coincidence is a bit creepy and unnerving. Hopefully, it has a normal cyber cause and will be fixed soon. To anyone in Super Tuesday states: GOTV any way that you can.
