My brother, the least techie person on earth, got tired of Windows updates regularly wiping all his device drivers.
He ended up with a Dell linux system, sold and serviced by Dell ( only sold online), and after some questions about substitute programs (Libre Office, Shotwell etc. ) he hasn't asked questions in years.
