Kindle fire question. Browser font size impossibly small now. Nothing changed

as far as I know, unless something upgraded itself. I can't find any setting or Google answer that says do so and so to make it stay large. Any ideas?

1. Hold down your CTRL and press the '+' (plus) key...

or ... press CTRL and 0 (zero) to Reset to default.

2. This is the Kindle 'Silk' browser. There is no CTRL key.

Even with a 7? screen that allows plenty of real estate to view the webpages you visit, the text may be too small to read. To enlarge the font size used within your Silk browser, select Menu, Settings, and then scroll down to Text Size. You will be able to then choose either the Large or Huge font size option to make reading websites easier. Be aware that on some websites you may need to scroll from side to side to take in all of what it has to offer.

4. Thank you. I followed the steps above but...

there is no Text Size selection under Settings. Weird, huh?

5. Others seem to think...

...downloading the "Maxthon" browser which allows text size changes is the best answer. Aside from that I see only "pinch" option to zoom in and out as an option.
