MacLife.com: "90 iOS 7 Tips and Tricks"

Having downloaded iOS 7 to iPhone and iPads, I found a few things I didn't like:

Suddenly I had over 10,000 photos and had to take several steps to delete dupes (turn off sharing).

I hate that the photos don't have quite the same "places" view, but there's still a way to view pictures by map.

Finally, I prefer slightly bolder fonts than the default.

Be sure to check all the tips! Tip seven from this list of 90 tips saved the day:

I chose Sherwood Forest for mail. I was awakened last night by Robinhood announcing a mail delivery.

I may have to change that sound.

The good thing is you can se time parameters for silence.

I have an iPad three. Can't seem to find the compass for it in the App Store either. I have WiFi only so that could be a reason, I guess.

I haven't had any operational issues, however, I cannot stand the way it looks. I wish I could downgrade.

This is the first upgrade that makes me feel like I have to learn everything all over again.

so I can get appointment reminders on my phone. It definitely looks different, but I haven't tried to use it yet from my phone, so I don't know what's involved.

I just can't get used to how it looks. I think it makes the phone look like a cheap toy.

15. While looking at a page in Safari, there's a tool bar along the bottom:

It has your page back and page forward arrows, an icon for sharing, then a bookmark icon and finally a multiple pages icon on the right.

If the toolbar isn't visible, try tapping the lower left of screen or scroll to top of page to make it appear.
