I've committed the ultimate 21st century sin. I forgot my Apple password. I reset it months ago but didn't write it down - very manic confusing process.

Any ideas?
Do I have to go to the Apple Store?

Please help. Without my iPad I'm stuck using my phone*

I took it to the Portland, Oregon Apple store where I was told that it could not be unlocked. I turned in to the Milwaukie, Oregon police station in the hope that someone would claim it. That was in 2014. If your name was Page... you can find it there.
