1. At the log-in window check the box, stay logged in.

Works on my ancient iPad. Then let your pad remember you name and password. It will fill it in automatically when you get to the log-in page.

2. the only thing I have found to work is to keep it open in a tab on safari

and just refresh "latest" threads each time. Eventually it will log me off, but that seems to work for several days.
On my iphone, I just had to save the login information and toggle to that to make it a little less laborious. I don't know why it does that but since one of the past IOS updates, it does.

And almost never have to log in.

I hope this is not a problem with new IPads, because
I am ready to replace this.

7. Make sure that you are not in Private mode.

It is at the bottom left of the browser screen, I believe.

Then, login with remember me enabled and you should be good to go.

I hope it's that simple.

Nice to know there are a few others out there still using this "ancient" piece of technology.
