Zoom for iPad?

Several months ago I followed the advice of the mavens here and did not download Zoom into my iMac because, yes, I had all the financial information on it.

But I wonder whether an iPad, using the WiFi from the modem is safe.

I don't think wi-fi is ever safe.

2. I use Zoom with an iPad, iPhone and a Samsung tablet...

but I didnt install the Zoom app. Rather, when I need to use Zoom, I use the web version. Supposedly, the web version doesnt have the permissions regarding your computer that the app has.

I've been using it for over a year without incident, although I know I wouldnt necessarily be aware of a security breach.

I'd suggest Googling "Is Zoom safe?". There are lots of articles and websites on that topic.

Caveat: I'm not a computer expert, just a heavy user.
