i am learning to fly via ms flight sim 1980 version for dos.

for years i have been using a app on apple called boxer app. boxer is a front end app for dos box. i recently swiched to 64 bit big sur and my old copy of boxer wouldnt work. i however found a 64 bit variant for mac . i found the game a while ago and just found the manual for it i also learned i can set the plane up so that the controls arnt so sensitive . anyone else have experiance here . thanks in adance . ps: im going to learn how to just taxi for now and do baby steps . 73 de allan01bear.

It’s not that expensive and light years better. Buy the cheapest one and you will be set.

such as Ascendancy, and Conquest of the New World.

If you are playing a 1980 game, I give you credit. Is it a CGA 4 color game?

I absolutely loved it.

I had the basic knowledge of flight, but not the details. That program was amazing.

I really think that in an emergency I could fly a single engine plane, and probably even land it safely. (Hope that never happens, but could)

I practiced until I could land a single engine Cessna on the aircraft carrier in San Francisco Bay, and then take off and fly back to my original take-off spot.

I'm not a certified pilot, but I did sleep in a "Motel 6" last night.
