hey linux users do this on your command line..

$ whatis God?

report back here. just curios what different distros say in response. mine says,

God? nothing appropriate.

Perhaps there's nothing appropriate about questioning God?

I had run it in immediate mode rather than console mode.

... but it's a bad idea to type in any command posted on the internet by a stranger if you don't know what it does.

everyone.. do use the 'man' (manual) command 1st to make sure you understand what the command is. that said, so far everything is harmless on any *nix.

p.s. i got the original idea from a 'linux command-line tips & tricks' page. nothing nefarious.

But you also probably shouldn't open a terminal in that case, either...
