I'm particularly looking forward to using E4rat to speed up my desktop's boot time...

Edit: Nope, nevermind about E4rat. Anything Ubuntu-based is going to have ureadahead installed, and they are in conflict. I currently run Xubuntu 11.10 on 2 machines, Mint 12 and Bodhi on the other two. But it prompted me to read up on ureadahead since I didn't know it existed previously.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
