Is there any way to bring back the status bar in Firefox 7?

Sometimes I just want to hover over a link and see the full link address. These days I only get a "summary," with an ellipsis in the middle.

I can right-click on the link and copy it. Then go into a command shell or text editor and paste it.

But usually just the old "hover and glance" would be better.

It seems to me that the recent trend of over-simplifying mainstream software is actually making my life more complicated.

Q: "How can I get the old Status Bar back?"

A: "The old Status Bar is dead, long live Status-4-Evar! Status-4-Evar is an Add-on that recreates all of the features of the old Status Bar and lets you put them in the new Add-on Bar." (Contains live link to "Status-4-Evar)

Hope this helps!

I love some of the newer features in it, like the ability to pin web pages as tabs. For me, that feature alone made it worth the switch!
