Can anyone recommend a good Python guide for kids?

The 10-year old son of a family friend wants me to help get him started on some basic coding in Python.

I've got 30+ years experience (mostly C, Java, and SQL) so I'm comfortable teaching basic skills, but having never used Python I figured it might be helpful to have a guide on hand to help with syntax and language features. His parents restrict his internet use so online guides or tutorials won't be a good fit.

Anything out there in print that might be suitable for his age group?

Two semi-random thoughts ...

1) it might be nice to get him a Raspberry-Pi and learn a little about the hardware too. Check out:

2) the above points to 'A Byte of Python' for beginners. Which is online, available to buy in printed form, and
also as a PDF that can be downloaded.

Python is an excellent modern language for beginners and grey-beards both.
