Any chance CA US Representative Judy Chu get appointed to the US Senate next year?

Assuming DiFi resigns or dies and Newsom survives the recall.
Judy Chu will be the 2nd Asian US Senator from CA after S I Hayakawa. 3rd After Kamala Harris.
