If Herring(D-VA) had ran for Governor in 2021, would he have won the Democratic nomination?

Herring will have an easier time winning the November General Election than McAuliffe.

I don’t think herring courts have beat Terry and critical race and the bathroom rapes in Loudon among with President Biden’s lagging poll numbers would have hurt him too.
