The 2022 MD US Senate Election is now in a very safe D column.

Larry Hogan-R is not running. Any chance Hogan runs for the US Senate in 2024 if Cardin-D decides to retire. Democrats have plenty of strong candidates in 2024.-
John Sarbanes-D
Anthony Brown-D
Donna Edwards-D
Glen Ivey-D
John Delaney-D
David Trone-D
Jamie Raskin-D

Ben Cardin’s predecessor(Paul Sarbanes’ son John Sarbanes) will run for the US Senate in 2024 and Ben Cardin’s nephew Jon Cardin will run for the US House in MD-3.

Larry Hogan will not defeat Ben Cardin nor he will defeat John Sarbanes.
