Obama's range has a high of 51, low of 47.

The range for Romney / Gingrich has a high of 46 and a low of 38 (I ignored Paul's 37).

So not only did Obama win every match up ... the ranges don't overlap.

Obama's floor in this set is 47, their ceiling is 46.

In my laymans' opinion, based on years of observation, is that Democrats have a base of 47-49%, Republicans base is 44-46%. Republicans are better at keeping their base motivated, angry, and likely to vote. They are better at messaging and dedicated to restricting voter access to Democratic leaning voters. That is how with a 70 year record of utter economic non-accomplishment, FUBAR, failue and "F" up, they remain a player on the national scene.

ESPECIALLY Virginia....I want to work for President Obama in that battleground state.
It's particularly encouraging too see him performing so well in a state that tilted Rethug in 2009 and 2010.
Pundits started calling it a lost cause for Barack in 2012...it's early I know, but those pundits might have to eat crow!!
Let's hope, work, vote, donate, phonebank and canvass to keep commonwealth blue for '12!!!!!!!!

And I'm hoping that as we get closer to the election and more folks come to understand the craven stupidity that is the Repub presidential field, those numbers will only get better.
