1. It really worries me when Obama and Biden hang out together in public...

... IF something were to happen to 'both' of them - then Boehner would become president.
And that would be a disaster in more ways than one!

I will be able to breathe easier on January 21, 2017.

Here I think the SS is just confident. With new technology and all, it is probably pretty safe and so we can think of it as Biden being under the same amount of protection.

is my theory. With all of his attributes.. being calm in the center of a storm is another one of them. I know it drives some people crazy but I like it.

I hadn't heard about bush and cheney's non-relationship. But, I can't imagine bush being too happy with being the puppet for the first years.. if the strings ever were cut.

But it was mentioned in a few places today. There is a new book out. Though I do recall Cheney and Rumsfield bought retirement houses not far from each other while they were still in office....... located a few thousand miles from Bush in Texas. I thought at the time it was telling.
