Starting right-fucking-now!

We know full well that the Repugs are already planning their fear-evoking images and messages, right out of Lee Atwater's and Karl Rove's playbooks of Smear-and-Fear. Those ads need to be immediately countered with overlapping images of Daesh-bags and the clown-car occupants, GOTP congress-critters, and gubers whose statements have played right into Daesh's bloody hands. They are traitors and they need to be labeled as such.

Take the gloves OFF, Debbie Wasserman Schultz!

Paris attacks: Baker, others wrong to reject Syrian refugees

Terrorist attacks have a way of bringing out the very best in us — but also the worst. We’ve seen the high-water mark of human empathy, as people all over the world rally in support of the victims of the unspeakable violence committed in Paris on Friday night. Now, however, we’re also seeing the stark limits of compassion, as governors across the United States — including our own governor, Charlie Baker — have announced that Syrian refugees are no longer welcome in their states.

The reality is that the overwhelming majority of Syrian refugees are innocent children and parents who’ve fled a homeland that has suffered a conflict far more deadly than the attacks Paris endured Friday night. An estimated 200,000 people have died in Syria since the war began four years ago.

For that reason alone, it’s regrettable that Massachusetts is being added to the list of states that have announced their refusal to accept Syrian refugees. (Those states — Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Louisiana, and Texas — all happen to be led by Republican governors.)

Earlier I had looked up to see what our Gov was doing ..

Ige defends stance on Syrian refugees

Gov. David Ige's office has been flooded with over 500 phone calls and about 300 emails from constituents in response to his statements Monday that Hawaii would welcome refugees fleeing a brutal civil war in Syria.

The governor said some of the comments were supportive of his position but he acknowledged during a press conference Tuesday afternoon that others raised concerns about public safety and how Hawaii would accommodate an influx of refugees in light of the state's escalating homeless problem.

http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/breaking/20151117_Ige_to_address_possibility_of_welcoming_Syrian_refugees.html?id=351206231

Our Gov wants them but he's getting calls from people who are concerned our Homeless first.

They've converted ISIS into the new Cold War, which funded trillions in unneeded military spending, cost millions of lives over time, and was used to make reasonable, non-rightwingers (liberals0 look weak, unprotective, unpatriotic, and somehow not American.
