tho i think that lakeside bit was different then. they have slowly replaced giant square rocks w concrete steps. but the bridge they walked is in washington park, i think.
i'll probably have to see it twice, because i will be totally distracted trying to place all the scenery. lol.

hope they get that library built fast. i have a plan to be a docent.

A movie is being made about President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's romance.

As Deadline reports, Southside With You will tell the story of that fateful summer afternoon in 1989 when the future president meet his first lady. The two were working in a corporate law firm in the south side of Chicago when Michelle, then 25, was assigned to mentor a 27-year-old Barack Obama.

The search is on for an actor to play a young Barack, but Tika Sumpter – who most recently appeared in Get on Up – has been cast to play a young Michelle.
