(53,661 posts)2. Obama for America TV Ad: "First Law"
The son of a single mom. Proud father of two daughters. President Obama knows that women being paid 77 cents on the dollar for doing the same work as men isn't just unfair, it hurts families.
So the first law he signed was the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to help ensure that women are paid the same as men for doing the exact same work. Because President Obama knows that fairness for women means a stronger middle class for America.

Mitt Romney in 2002: "I'm going to reduce taxes."
As Governor, Mitt Romney did cut taxes...on millionaires like himself.
But he raised taxes and fees on everyone else: $1.5 billion.
Over a thousand fee hikes:
On health care. On school bus rides. On milk. On driver's licenses. On nursing homes. On lead poisoning prevention. On meat and poultry inspection. On fishermen and gun owners. On nurses. On electricians. On hospitals. On funeral homes. On mental health services. On hospice care. On elevator repair.
Romney Economics didn't work then. And won't work now.

(53,661 posts)4. Obama For America TV Ad: "Come And Go"
Running for Governor, Mitt Romney campaigned as a job creator. "I know how jobs are created."
But as a corporate raider he shipped jobs to China and Mexico.
As Governor, he did the same thing. Outsourcing state jobs to India. Now, he's making the exact same pitch. "I know why jobs come and why they go."
Outsourcing jobs. Romney economics: It didn't work then and it won't work now.

(53,661 posts)7. Thanks guys, I'll look for more of these campaign videos.
I think we're doing good on DU as a whole with our videos of the stops. Obama has got the ideas and the people know it. We don't have mainstream media and the radio with us, and we're being outspent 3 to 1. Saw a link was posted earlier today on how to contribute to the OFA. I'm hoping those with television will be seeing some of these spots soon. It's going to be a long, hot summer and it's still a long time until November and anything can and will happen. If anyone needs that link here, I'll post it.

(53,661 posts)8. Half-time? Four More Years!
Clinton Eastwood made this to support President Obama. I'd only seen a version with the beginning and end clipped off, so I didn't know it was about Obama, but it is. Pretty good and describes what the president is working on. Enjoy guys, I just found this channel through a thread in GD and am working through it.

OFA Ohio: President Obama Cares About Firefighters
Last year Governor Kasich of Ohio signed SB5, an attack on police officers, firefighters, teachers and the middle class.
SB5 (Issue 2) was soundly defeated. But Romney continues to attack police officers, teachers and firefighters. Ohioans disagree with Mitt Romney.
President Obama cares about what real people think about, are worried about, and are concerned about.
