MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police were called to an Orange Mound convenience store after someone reported seeing a casket in the parking lot on Monday.

According to people in the neighborhood, the casket was outside the Speedy Corner store, located at Park Avenue and Grand Street, for several hours.

Leachman said he later learned someone hauling scrap ran out of room on his truck and left the casket behind.

He said it’s not just creepy, but disrespectful.
