Wasps got in the space between the ceiling and second floor one summer

They bored a hole through the siding into the space between the floor joists and built a nest that filled the space with a nest.

We learned about it when they bored a hole through the ceiling and swarmed the house. We had thousands of wasps inside the house.

Exterminator sprayed something to calm the wasps, we took a vacuum and sucked them out of the space and the house. Once in the house they went to the windows which made it relatively easy to suck them up forgive the nerves.

It took days to get em all out, you would think you had them and them there would be more. The ceiling had to be replaced.
