Zach Galifinakis Once Saved A Woman From Homelessness, Will Take To Hangover III Premiere

Hollywood funnyman Zach Galifianakis is taking a woman he rescued from homelessness to the premiere of “The Hangover Part III.”

There’s no joke in his surprising act of generosity.

Zach Galifianakis, who as an unknown used the laundromat where Haist volunteers, has taken his friend to previous premieres. He still stops by to take her to lunch every few weeks.

It’s the sort of stunt you might expect his dopey “Hangover” character Alan Garner to pull, but Galifianakis has been close pals with Elizabeth “Mimi” Haist, a laundrywoman in Los Angeles, for almost 20 years.
