Shark vs Crocodile
WHO would win in a fight between a crocodile and a shark? The mighty croc won this round judging by the spectacular photo on our front page.
English tourist Peter Jones was 30 minutes into a Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River, Kakadu National Park, with his wife, his Darwin-based CareFlight doctor son Robert Jones, and daughter-in-law when he snapped our front page pic of the snapping handbag and the unlucky bull shark.
"Its hard for me to say how large they both were as I lack the experience in estimating the size of both crocs and sharks, both being very rare in rural Cambridgeshire," Mr Jones said.
"Big, springs to mind, even bloody huge or perhaps enormous. Our guide referred to both the croc and shark as being 'very big'.
