Woman trapped in real-life Hitchcock horror as 300 birds invade home every night

Woman trapped in real-life Hitchcock horror as 300 birds invade home every night

She describes the scene as like a real-life version of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic The Birds.

When Californian Shirley Brown came home last Friday she found hundreds of wild birds had come down her chimney into her house.

The birds, which she believes were trying to hide from the storm that evening, were in her kitchen, behind her TV, on the ceiling fan – and even under the sofa.

‘There were 200 to 300 of them,’ said Mrs Brown.

Now the birds come streaming down the chimney and into her living room every night.

That would keep the birds out.

That is a serious invasion! I love birds, but that would freak me out too.

My friend was telling me yesterday that she and her cats have been finding birds hiding in her kitchen lately. I thought her cats were *ing with her and bringing them in not yet dead, but maybe they're coming down the chimney. Crap ... I know I'll be the one who has to climb up and have a look.
