about this were unable to explain the spectacle their children "had to witness" in terms they could understand.

If you don't want your children to learn about nature, don't take them to the fucking zoo.

that to their kids. Simple, non-graphic terms would suffice. They shouldn't punish the donkeys with denial of their own nature.

Do these people not have cats and dogs, or have they never visited a farm?

Did they offer the donkeys something more erudite to do with their time other than to eat, drink, piss, shit, sleep and have sex?

Pretty sure that having a bunch of ogling humans in their only place to indulge themselves is not that big a turn on, either.

Send in the clowns next time, oh wait, they run the zoo.
