He did this BEFORE the closed primary vote tomorrow? LMAO.

(68,868 posts)We are going to crush him in NY tomorrow, and then the Democrats in PA and MD and CT and DE and RI will do the same.
And then we can turn to the Republicans while leaving the High Sparrow to preach to his Faith Militant in relative obscurity.

Who owns that server and email system? Not the Sanders committee. So THEY are violating the campaign finance laws.
And how about those three letters with reams of illegal contributions? They're a total of 500 pages now - 95 the first time, 150 the second time, and now just a few days ago 250 pages.
They should work on getting their own house in order before criticizing the Clinton campaign.

BlueMTexpat
(15,366 posts)why I EVER believed that Bernie cared enough about people so that his entry into this race as a Dem would be a good thing.
Silly, silly me! He has shown himself to be the Trump of the Left; his ego is every bit as large as Trump's and some of his supporters, although they claim to be "progressive" (I now have an active dislike of that word and much prefer "liberal;" if "liberal" was good enough for JFK and RFK, it's good enough for me!), act much more like authoritarians and fascists. Life must be on their terms and their terms alone.
If the GOP actually manages to thwart Trump's nomination, I am beginning to believe that a Trump-Sanders third-party ticket is not beyond the realm of possibility. The only problem with that might be that neither would be willing to be second on the ticket because each one is so wholly convinced of his own righteousness,
I cannot wait for tomorrow to be over. Bernie's desperation is pathetic. It's also disgusting.

(10,014 posts)Sanders is trying to do to Hillary what the repugs have tried to do to Obama - make her/him illegitimate and unqualified. What the two attempts have in common is a self-righteous believe in their own entitlement.
We haven't let the repugs define Obama and we won't let the BS campaign bring down Hillary.

(9,148 posts)Neither have what it takes to lead a nation in the world today. No policy, no respect for all & they don't care beyond their cult followers.
They're in this race to grandstand & mock.
Their egos lead their noses.
And they make up the game as they go along.
They have no plan beyond the sound of their own voices.
And their cult applauds the stupidity of both of them while they laugh all the way to the bank.
They are the Koch purchased Teaparty. The John Birchers & Libertarians and they are one n the same.
What would the Kochs do to have both the RW & LW majority in our govt. Imagine what they would spend to have that much control. To own both House & Senate & Office of Presidency?
There would be no democracy, no republic, only the Kochs in full control of our United States of America.
This is what we get with the two candidates who are now campaigning in sync to keep the only Democrat from keeping our government of, by & for ALL people.
They would both like to destroy our delegate system of primary election by claiming anything in their own way is corrupt.
Thank the gods for the Dem Super Delegates.
They are our last stronghold against the Koch LW Teaparty.
Trump & Sanders are their voices in 2016.
They can destroy the Republican Party but will never touch the Dems.
Hillary Clinton knows who they are & what their intent is in the 2016 race.
We are all beginning to know it too. Including the Dem Super Delegates
Thank you.

(2,577 posts)Bernie's ego has gotten the best of him, and he is basically not cut out for politics at this level. That becomes increasingly obvious with each passing day. The sad thing is that the M$M wants a horse race for ratings SO badly that they feed this nonsense. Bernie STILL hasn't gotten that many hard questions thrown his way.
Bernie in the general would be toast, and the Rethugs are hoping and praying for that, so they feed the frenzy in their own back-handed, sleazy way.
Bernie has things to say that charm many--breaking up big banks, making education free, etc., but does not have the political chops to make ANY of it happen.
Personally, I want to know who funded ALL of the TV ads he ran in Ohio before the primary. His ads were far more frequent than hers.

(12,448 posts)The SANDERS campaign accusing the CLINTON campaign (and the DNC) of violating campaign finance law? The FEC is after Sanders for unlawful individual contributions.
As for the Hillary Victory Fund, it's interesting that Sanders is targeting it in particular. That fund is a joint fund with the DNC that is used to raise funds for Democrats up and down the ticket. Yes, that's right. Sanders, who also has a joint fund with the DNC ($1,000 contributed by the DNC and is sitting languishing) is actually whining about the fact that down-ticket Democrats are being helped.
For more information on the Victory Fund if you need it: http://www.thepeoplesview.net/main/2016/4/14/like-night-and-day-comparing-bernie-sanders-down-ballot-fundraising-to-that-of-hillary-clinton
The article compares Hillary's robust fundraising for down-ticket with Sanders extreme disinterest and is very interesting. Here's a clip:

(2,792 posts)He just wants to break the system so that nobody else can use it.
The only thing that will break is his future political career. I think he will officially announce his retirement from the Senate and will not run again. No Democrat -- not even Elizabeth Warren -- will have anything to do with him.
He can sell Eugene Debs videos to pay off his FEC penalties.

(7,627 posts)was to allow Bernie to run as a democrat. If you recall at the start of the caimpaign there were issues with Sanders getting on the ballot as a dem and the dnc had to back him up to convince states that he was a dem.
They should have let him run as an independent. Without the apparatus of the dnc he would have crashed and burned within a month.
