Related: About this forumJeff Weaver is REACHING! Stuttering and can't explain the math.
Steve Kornacki is breaking it down to him. Kornacki is even being too generous to Sanders and this guy does not have an argument.
He just said BS is doing well in NJ and PA. That's not true.

(879 posts)and given that Bernie went back to Vermont to recharge, my guess would be that he had no idea Weaver was going to do this. It was impromptu stupidity. I think he's off the reservation. This is a terrible look for him and the campaign.

(11,619 posts)Clinton is winning in both popular vote and delegate vote by a greater margin than President Obama won by in 2008.
So, if Sanders loses the popular vote, it shows that Democrats do not want him as their standard bearer.
If Sanders loses the delegate vote, it proves that Democrats do not want him as their standard bearer.
Democrats are no going to elevate a candidate that came in second in every category.
Republicans may do that. They are certainly trying. Democrats will not.

(20,450 posts)dude has a chance. He doesn't! HRC is winning by every single metric, and yet, here we have even the MSNBC pundits pretending that Sanders has a chance. He simply doesn't!

(1,968 posts)NJ is looking very bad.
PA is likely to be a bit closer than NY...previously, I said it would be Clinton +3 floor. Assuming no changes, I'd like to revise that to Clinton +7 as the floor number.

(86,322 posts)Did you watch Hillary's speech? That was probably the best speech I've ever heard deliver every line was indisputable... she was awesome. I've been watching her since the beginning of the 90s and I would have to say that she has certainly grown into this and cleared every hurdle imaginable along the way. A strong woman perseveres to the finish line.

Kornacki, too, has been most generous and has gone through every single scenario with this Weaver guy. Even under the best of circumstances--say, Sanders wins every single remaining primary/caucus. Let's say he does. It still doesn't help him. He'd have to win by such a great margin in order to begin to close that gap.
See, that's what happen when you shit on Southern black voters.

(879 posts)I think Weaver did that of his own volition. Sanders went to "recharge his batteries" in Vermont and Weaver comes out and does that? Meanwhile, Devine is already backing down.

(5,038 posts)Lots of generalized nonsense about not needing to win anywhere since there are sooooooo many delegates left on the board. I still say they are either dropping acid or huffing glue out at Camp Sanders.
One thing is certain - the guys in the thousand dollar suits are going to keep this flagging campaign going if it takes CPR and the breath of life.
