Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI'm going to miss my chance!
To see Clinton in RI on Saturday. I am so bummed - she's going to be at central falls high school and my Saturday Job (I work 2 jobs and work 7 days a week) is in Cumberland - so if you're from here, you would know that I am going to be about 2 miles from her!
Her rally starts at 4:30 and I don't get out of work until 5 - and on Saturday I work my first job from 3am until 7am and then my 2nd job from 9am until 5pm - who knows, even though I will be dead on my feet, I may try to get there. I wonder if I can get in late.
Since I plan to vote for Clinton, I'm obviously a member of the oligarchy, what with my work schedule and all.
It may be my only chance to get to see her in person. I saw Bill a few years ago at a Sheldon Whitehouse rally but never had the chance to see Hillary.

(1,359 posts)time as you'd need to leave work and travel to the event? It never hurts to ask, sometimes people might surprise you.
I'm trying to keep an eye out for events in NJ, but with our primary so far away, I expect nothing is set in stone yet. I'm going to try, though.
