That said, if you go to an elite prep school, your chances of getting into an Ivy League school are improved. It is assumed that the curriculum is more challenging and college prep oriented. So you could get into Yale or Harvard with a 3.5 GPA if you are coming out of Sidwell Friends or Exeter, etc. But you would likely need a 4.0 or above to get into an Ivy League school coming out of an average public high school.

More importantly, how will the Sanders college plan help highly talented students go to Harvard if they are qualified to get in? What if a student gets into UVA, Michigan and Harvard, but wants to go to Harvard? How does the Sanders' college plan help make that happen?

They believe that the oft discussed, written about, analyzed, etc. "behavior" of far too many of Senator Sanders supporters doesn't exist. They will deny it exists, even when participating in it.

I've never see anything like this.

Certain ones here on DU, think the "rumors" of bulling behavior, or inappropriate disparaging of political figures or their families is a plot by Brock and paid for trolls.

Fortunately it is widespread enough, and has irritated enough, that it's easily proven. That particular rumor-- I know nothing about.

I thought that alerts in protected groups don't go to a jury, unless the hosts ok it. Isn't that the point of William's earlier post?

William was talking about this...

MESSAGE ABOUT SOP ALERTS FOR THIS GROUP [View all]

This discussion thread is pinned.
Hillary Hosts only take into consideration SOP alerts sent by regular members of this Group. Hillary supporters are the backbone of this Group and they know what they want and don't want posted here.

Alerts sent by people blocked from this Group or people that do not participate in this Group, I'm hear to tell you right now that you are wasting your time. Your time would be well spent in the Main Forums or Groups that you participate in.

Group Hosts have total control over the Group that they Host in and here in the Hillary Group we use the Statement of purpose as a guideline not strict adherence.

We make the Hillary Group enjoyable for Hillary supporters and we listen to them and them only.

All others are free to read here but if you don't like what you see, then you can just move right along. There are plenty of other Groups where you might be better suited for.

Host are sent alerts that someone is breaking protocol in our group. Nine out of 10 are bogus alerts. It is just us sounding off a little bit. Yet they don't like it. Ha! Everytime I get a bogus one I go and kick that thread.

We are under constant attack in the Hill group. We are stalked and hidden, however it is our group and we monitor as we see fit.

I didn't realize alerts were treated differently based on the type of alert.

It's also sad that it's devolved into what it is today. That said, if this is the price of winning, I'll take it.

even though logic says it is over. And these same posters who make our posting here a living hell have already stated en-mass for all to see that they will be leaving DU as soon as Clinton is the Democratic nominee to continue to attack her from 'the other forum'. Its clear they are here now to use the admins rules of not calling it to cause as much damage to the Democratic party as they can from this forum. Probably doing this on other sites as well.

DISTURBING AND FRUSTRATING...
