Clinton outraises Sanders in April
By NICK GASS 05/02/16 08:29 AM EDT

Hillary Clinton outraised Bernie Sanders in the month of April, according to fundraising figures reported Monday by the Democratic front-runner's campaign.

Clinton's campaign took in a total of $36 million in April, of which $9.5 million went to the Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising operation between the campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and state parties. Of that total, $26.4 million of the $36 million went to the Clinton campaign itself, which enters May with $30 million on hand.

By comparison, Sanders' team on Sunday reported raising $25.8 million in April, a steep drop from its $44 million total in March.

to the down ballot democrats. Instead of whinning about how the superdelegates are supporting Hillary maybe Bernie should have supported the party as well.

According to the FEC filing for the last reporting period, Bernie spent more than he received and STILL ended the period with more money than he started with. I realize I am in Remedial Bernie Math, but last I checked it's not possible to do that.

I want to hear them explain their bernie math to the FEC investigators.
Bad days for bernie on the horizon. No wonder he's still out their making up go-nowhere reasons to stay in the race.
