(15,951 posts)other than Hillary. But at this point there should be a rule about calling any of our candidates liars or advocating for not voting for the democratic nominee. I don't see why the administrators aren't a little tougher on some of this--and people can still advocate for Bernie and Hillary to there hearts content.

(1,359 posts)DU's admins must think, or know, how much traffic the hatemongers bring, and have capitulated before that traffic and its potential ad revenue. But whether they leave today or leave in a few months, they're going to be leaving nonetheless. They're not here because they're Democrats anyway, so perhaps DU should rip the bandaid off sooner rather than later. Otherwise, it will be genuine long-time readers who decide to head for the exits first. Then DU will lose even more traffic than it would have just by dropping the hammer on a few angry trolls.

(1,359 posts)Maybe the Admins need to be overloaded with jury flags until they're motivated to do something about it.

(10,476 posts)Though it is still rather sad that 2 people think it's ok to call the party's presumptive nominee a "war criminal".

(297,275 posts)I was just on a jury from a trigger happy alerter.. that I could tell he didn't have anything better to do than wasting our time tattle tailing on a Hill supporter.

(42,862 posts)... on the other hand, the act of alerting (and likely winning) gives them a sense of victory and helps to validate their sense of "injustice" that Bernie is not going to be the nominee.
Thankfully, the forced "time-outs" are gone, and the only penalty is being less likely to participate in juries (which in and of itself only contributes to the lopsidedness of the jury make-up) thus perpetuating and increasing the ease in which the process can be abused.
Other than SOP violations, I don't alert any more. It's a waste of time.
It certainly does.

(297,275 posts)I have several friends on it. It's when you get two hides within 24 hours and we get Flagged For Review.. And, you can't post or get PMs.. nothing.
It's usually a day or two before Skinner let's them off... but my friends have been in Limbo for weeks.. they can't post on DU because the majority got them Hides and for the most part they were not against TOS.
I want to ask Skinner about that .. it's not fair.

(297,275 posts)know what I mean by that.
Luckily there are other Hillary sites for them to post on.. but they're being unfairly censored on DU..

(2,524 posts)Wrote this to admins: Pure hate for the Democratic front runner. Poster only here to disrupt and bash Democrats. Has stated she will be here only til Clinton gets the nomination so trying to do as much damage as possible til then.
Hiding kstewart33's post just proves what we have been saying is going on.
It will get better soon. June coming fast.

(7,286 posts)What I am seeing on other forums: this site is becoming the "anti Hillary, anti-democratic" forum
their words, not mine, from more than one source
cant disagree with that at all

(6,551 posts)I view the administrators as an appeals court. If the jury votes against my post, I should have the right to appeal and to encourage others if it increases the probability that they will take the appeal seriously. The final decision is in the hands of the administrators.
Don't see anything wrong with that, especially with the particular post that I alerted.
