Trump was able to win in the RIGHT WING PRIMARY where the knuckle draggers come out and vote because of a split GOP and the fact that for thirty years the right wing has created a crazed monster primary electorate out on the crazy fringe with years of crazed right wing talk radio and the Fake Noise Network. So he has ginned up enough of that crazed racist right wing base, and with the rest split up he was able to win with a lot of pluralities. The general election is a VERY different ballgame.
