I just threw up a little bit in my mouth a few minutes ago!

While I was dropping my son off at school, I heard on the radio that there is talk of a Donald Rump/Back Bench Bernie ticket!

Hopefully, Sanders has too much integrity for THAT...ooops, never mind!

Yuck!

PEACE!

...his conduct in the course of this campaign has caused me to lose every bit of respect that I ever had for him.

His conduct in the coming weeks will determine if I ever choose to respect him again.

The reporting of the speculation about Sanders possibly being considered to be Donald Rump's running mate is a report I heard on the radio today. It isn't something I would ever make up. I believe that Rump will make a mealy mouth VP choice, like our own spine of oatmeal senator from up here in Maine, Susan Collins...YUCK!

I'm sure that regardless of who is the #2 on the Republican/teabagger ticket, there will be celebration in the Clinton family when Rump's convention adjourns!

PEACE!

The remark about Sanders' integrity is referencing the fact that since March, he has run exactly the sort of campaign that he said he wouldn't run, has been collecting Pinnocchios like they were Beanie Babies, become the master of the cheap stunt (like the Vatican fiasco) and has been claiming endorsements he didn't get, advisors who never even met him and campaign workers who are willing to steal an opponent's data.

None of this denotes a great deal of integrity to me, hence the "ooops, never mind" remark.

I think he is hurting the Democratic Party and Hillary by staying in. I never thought he would do something like that (liked him before he got so aggressive) and I am disappointed in him. I don't want to see another Nader-type situation with him being the spoiler.

If he lost and tried to return to the Democratic Caucus, where he wields considerable power, he would be told to take a hike.
What real policy initiative would Trump give him?

I don't think he would do that. I think running an avowed "socialist" as a running mate would lead to defections of a solid chunk of what Republican party is left.

I remember back in 2008, I thought that if Hillary were nominated, she'd definitely nominate Obama for Veep, but that if he were nominated, he would never choose her. I was, sadly, proved right on that. Both of them, though, could have gracefully accepted the role and campaigned heartily for the ticket.

The Donald and the Bern? No way. Couldn't fit both those heads on a stage, and their angry white supporters likewise couldn't be in the same room.

which is now being used for ammo by some Sanders supporters. Whatever Sanders faults may be, he's a zillion miles above Trump, and there's no way in hell he's ever team up with that bigoted, misogynist, orange-faced asshat.
