Are we intellectually superior? Based on the few Bernie supporters I know in meatspace, I'd have to say probably not.

Syringa vulgaris. I have four shrubs, but none of them are producing very well yet (they're too young).

That's the standard old-fashioned common plant by the looks of it. Newer ones are available in darker and flashier colors, but I've always had a weak spot for the Grandma's Garden Pale Purple.
