Hillary Clinton

NOTHING gets around that. No amount of squabbling, complaining...NOTHING.
When a Bernie supporter attacks Hillary, "And yet, she is *still* beating your guy. Math is math".
We have to start to turn toward the general, but keeping in mind...her lead is insurmountable, so he is only helping the GOP by staying in.
Math is math. That's all you have to say

(740 posts)...did anyone else see this story? And did anyone think of a rabid Bernie supporter (not to be confused with a real, rational Bernie supporter) when they read it? I felt guilty after thinking so, but the thought did cross my mind.

(10,291 posts)Math is math, and he *cannot* win. I would have preferred to see a coalition...but we have to play the hand we're dealt, not the hand we wish we had.
Math is math. NOTHING they say detracts from that. NOTHING.
There are not enough delegates left in this race for him to win this, EVEN IF HE WINS EVERY REMAINING PRIMARY BY 100%. (which he won't anyway)
I will try to welcome them with open arms, once he finally concedes, but I will be damned if I become a doormat for their petulance in the meantime.
Fuck that.

(51,229 posts)Just review Maddow's interview of Sanders and he said that if he wins the majority of states he should get the nomination. That is ridiculous.
If that was also applied to the general election it would be even more difficult to win the Presidency.

(10,291 posts)It is time to NOT back down. Hillary Clinton is the presumptive nominee and we have to start moving forward.
