Bernie Sanders Weakened Heading Into California

Bernie Sanders Weakened Heading Into California
by ALEX SEITZ-WALD

Throughout his campaign, California has been Bernie Sanders' promised land — a progressive state rich in delegates and a reliable source of hope, just over the horizon.

"We think we have a path toward victory, and that path absolutely must go through California," Sanders told the Los Angeles Times in March.

But now, with California's June 7 primary finally coming into view, Sanders may be heading into the Golden State hobbled.

Despite notching two wins this month, with more likely to come, Sanders is running lower on cash than expected and replaced his top official in California Wednesday. Meanwhile, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has moved to solidify her support in the state, which she won comfortably over Barack Obama in 2008.

He also seems to be focusing on the Central Valley, the vast agricultural region in the interior of the state that mostly votes Republican in general elections, with back-to-back rallies this week in Stockton and Sacramento.

If you support Trump and have an open primary, why not ratfuck the Dems to try to get the weaker candidate against Trump nominated?

But considering over 30% of his votes came from ratfucking Trump supporters, it is vomit-inducing to see Sanders crow about his "big win" in WV.

The media is finally making it obvious. Unfortunately it was the media that pretended he was in a real horse race with Hillary all along, when he was not doing as well as they made it seem.
He would have to win almost all of California's pledged delegates and Hillary Clinton is ahead of him in polls. His campaign contributions are drying up. He is on his last hurrah. Hopefully he will stop being a spoilsport now.

I think that Trump is a bigger manipulator than Sanders, and Sanders is so egocentric that it would be very easy for Trump to grab handfuls of strings to pull. He could even make Sanders think he could be VP, or in his administration somewhere.

The biggest problem Bernie has in California is selling his tax-and-overspend economic program to people who are already pretty heavily taxed.

That's a LOT of illegal donations!!

Well, maybe they also need to "hold-back" that amount and keep it on hand in the event of penalties, legal and defense fees and other assorted fines that may be levied on the campaign as well.

I'm just guessing here. These are just my opinions since I'm not a legal expert.

Sanders is also still holding out hope for another <primary> in California, which Clinton's campaign agreed to in principle earlier this year, when they pushed to add another debate before New Hampshire.

I'm sure the word is DEBATE!

Could this be the M$M trigger he is counting on?

he's going to be on every cable news outlet everyday - with Trump agreeing! - bashing Hillary, the DNC, and the Democratic Party.

I'd say if he backs off this - he is truly winding down his campaign.

There have been enough debates for the primaries. As far as I am concerned he would only want to debate again to make a plea to his supporters to send him more money.

In another sign of trouble, a senior aide says the campaign is likely to stop producing new TV spots all together. That, after the campaign has cut more than 264 different TV ads.

Sweet Jeebus, those progressives got conned out of a lot of money. Almost enough to make my feel sympathy for them, until I remember how inhumane their behavior has become lately and how it justifies all the bad karma in life that will come their way.

Will his campaign team continue to fund raise though knowing the math is not working for Sanders. It is okay for all primaries to vote, I am not so sure it is okay to continue to fund raise especially when the average donation is $27 apiece. It is hitting those who just may be having a difficult time providing for themselves, sad.
