The latest Sanders' supporters' insult to Democrats that voted for the winner

They call us Republicans. That's all they've got. Their hero Bernie, the merchant of anger and envy, didn't fool enough people to win the nomination so now they are throwing temper tantrums

1. Nuance was never their strong suit. They think that Democrats are a monolithic bloc.

And that is why they fail.

The world is not black and white. There are no red states or blue states, only purple states. Southern Democrats aren't Republicans just because they live in the South. Liberal Democrats aren't suddenly Republicans because they think that Hillary Clinton is the best choice for the country. They're still liberal Democrats.

It must be nice to see everything in binary terms. We used to mock Republicans for doing so, but some on "our" side have proven to be equally narrow in view.

3. Crazy huh, I know I am Democrat, have been even before I could vote, plan to be

Democrat for the rest of my life. I think there is some jealously, we are great people and will not be derailed by those who can not change us.

4. The greatest difference between a Republican and a Democrat

is that Democrats vote for Democrats in the general election. If anybody isn't a Democrat its the Sanders supporters who won't vote Democratic in the fall.

5. Imagine that. Fake Democrats calling real Democrats Republicans.

They go on and on about how Hillary and her supporters aren't "real" Democrats and then remind us that they're all independents.

6. We are all Republicans, yet we are also handing the election to the Republicans if we....

don't vote for Sanders. I really wish they would come up with a consistent line of insult/reasoning. It's kind of like how any BernieorBuster tells you to be nice to them if you want to earn their vote. If you are solidly BoB, I'm not wasting my time on you.

7. Because of the "Bernie or Bust" crowd,...

...we can no longer claim any real moral superiority over the teabaggers. Thanks, Sanders!

Their feelings of victimization is much like the way bullies always find reasons to blame everyone else for their disgraceful behavior. At this point, I couldn't care less about them. They could go POUND sand. Hillary will win without them!

PEACE!

9. I welcome their insults.

Every new slander, smear, and slur makes me even prouder to support Hillary in 2016.

The vitriolic ones don't know us, have never walked in our shoes, and likely never will. Those who actually do know us know who and what we are and don't need to resort to insults. We don't have to "prove" anything to them. They will be very proud to vote to elect the first woman US President with us in the GE - even if some may for the moment prefer Bernie.

As for the vitriolic ones, they are their own worst enemies. If that's how they want to live their lives, I pity them, because they will never be happy - with anyone or anything.

13. They believe that crashing and burning the system will bring about Democratic Socialist Utopia.

Things don't work that way. Genuine and lasting reform requires hard work, persistence, and commitment from within the system.

When a computer is infected by a Trojan, you can't get rid of it by crashing the system and rebooting. You have to run anti-malware within the system. You need an operating system to fix the system.

You don't cure illness by killing the host and waiting for a resurrection. Revolution aimed at destruction doesn't work. It kills lots of people through social upheaval. Pragmatic reform, though it frustrates those who want immediate satisfaction, is the only effective method.

Bernie and his followers are trying to crash and reboot the Democratic party. That intend to make Democrats as divisive and divided as the Republicans have become.

Maybe Bernie is so old he doesn't care about the harm and anger and ill-will he has caused. Maybe he knows he will never witness the consequences of the havoc he has caused.

In my view, when this primary is over, Bernie should work on some heavy duty rebuilding of or "revolution" in his own character. He needs to be reminded of the words of T. S. Eliot ("Four Quartets": “The only wisdom we can hope to acquire / Is the wisdom of humility: humility is endless."

Anger or hatred is a type of "malware" that infects the human person and the human community. We all need to take steps to eradicate it, and we have to begin mindfully within ourselves.

14. The liberal parties in pre nazi Germany thought the same thing

Hitler will bring the revolution.

History shows how that worked out for them.

Now smart ass Bernie 1%ers like Susan Sarandon think Trump will do the same for us. SMH

17. It is easier to start fires than to put them out.

It is easier to stoke anger than it is to quench it.

Anger out of control can destroy an entire society.

Politicians who exploit anger are like children playing with matches and gasoline. Nothing good can come of it.

I recall a Sanders supporter who said that O'Malley's problem was that he was not angry enough.

I also recall O'Malley saying that no great nation has ever been built on a foundation of anger and hatred.

O'Malley referred to Sanders as a "protest candidate." That said it all for me. Sanders doesn't build things; he tears them down.

We need to get past this divisive nonsense and do some healing and cooperation before it is too late.

I hope and pray it is not too late. It is hard to rein in anger once it has been unleashed.

11. The Democratic party is a big tent.

It includes many different points of view. That is its strength. But children (old or young) with severe behavior problems are another thing altogether. In the end, Democrats have to support Democrats. Let the Republicans eat one another. That is not our way.

12. It's awfully rovian to use your opponents strength against them

Our strength is that we are the Democrats while so many of them are not. They talk about the values of FDR while knowing nothing about him.

15. Yet many of their tactics and reactions have mimicked Republicans

Claiming voter fraud, trying to flip delegates at state conventions and then causing disturbances when it fails.

And then the on-line rhetoric of hate and personal attacks is right out of right wing playbooks.
