If the state of affairs for Sanders is in disarray...

It calls into question what will happen with national delegates at state conventions. Some of the district delegates are elected during the primary while others like in Indiana are not elected until the state convention. At-Large delegates most likely are elected during state conventions in all states.

Depending on the deadlines that a person can file as a delegate in their state there may be less interest to be a Sanders' delegate the further it is after the breakdown of Sanders' campaign. How would they fill the positions if there are not enough filing? Would they remain vacant and therefore they would not be reported during the roll call? Also, if the Sanders' campaign is in disarray and in wind down stage would they still be vetting and confirming anyone seeking to be a Sanders' delegate?
