Sanders defends campaign, accuses Nevada Democrats of bias

Political

In a lengthy statement, Sanders offered a broad rebuke of violence and harassment of any kind, but he put his focus elsewhere: accusing state party leaders of holding a biased convention intended to tip the scales in Hillary Clinton's favor.

"The chair allowed its Credentials Committee to en mass rule that 64 delegates were ineligible without offering an opportunity for 58 of them to be heard. That decision enabled the Clinton campaign to end up with a 30-vote majority. The chair refused to acknowledge any motions made from the floor or allow votes on them. The chair refused to accept any petitions for amendments to the rules that were properly submitted."

Sanders continues to state facts that are not true. As one delegate that reported and the Nevada State Chair also reported the 64 delegates were not all denied. Only a few were denied due to not being registered as a Democrat. Mostly all of them for some reason could not be found even by the Sanders' campaign. They didn't even show up. So how would they be included by the Credentials committee if they weren't there. In addition, 22% of the Sanders' delegation did not show up. Sanders had 2,124 available slots for the convention. Only 1,662 showed up. 462 didn't make it.

Another key point is that all of the committees, Rules & Bylaws, Credentials, and Platform were evenly split by both campaigns. How is that biased against Sanders?
