If you're an outsider running a one and done campaign to gratify your ego - I suppose it's ok to try and burn the village down on your way out. But, if you believe in the things the party has stood and fought for - for decades - you realize the very real benefits of putting democrats in office outweigh the emotional needs of just one man.

I never cared who he wanted to support. He's been a solid Dem but that book title, "Buyer's Remorse", about the first Black president doesn't sit well with me. Illusions to buying or ownership, considering his topic, are disturbing. He probably made a hefty chunk of change off of it, though.

Defending Hillary takes him part way to where he needs to go.
