The ignore button is my friend.
I had nobody on ignore at the beginning of May, now I have over 75. I just can't take all of the conspiracy theories and negative stuff against all Democrats except Bernie supporters. My blood pressure is much lower now.

2. The odd thing is that the Sanders campaign is conspiring against the Democratic party.
Consider the protest rallies being planned to take place in Philadelphia near the convention center.
But the strategy includes many more tactics. |

4. Yes...and this is what has me very worried. Do you think this selfish and destructive choice
that Sanders has made...to smear the Democratic Party, could result in President Trump? How can he put the genie back in the bottle after making "the big, bad corrupt Democratic Party" such a huge part of his campaign and fund raising? I just don't see it. Whether he would even try to unify the party, I have doubts. But even if he wanted to...how would he do that after bashing the Dem Party all these months? I've never seen this kind of thing before coming from a "Democratic" candidate (not that he actually is a real Dem) Trump said this morning at his NRA thing that he thinks the Sanders supporters will break for him. How many actually will?

5. My prediction is that he intends to cause even more disruption at the national convention.
He will attempt to poison the atmosphere surrounding Hillary's campaign for president. I think he really hates her that much.
I do not think the Democratic party should allow this to happen, and it will take more than a gentle nudge from Harry Reid or Barbara Boxer to stop it. Frankly, I don't think Bernie could stop it, even if he wanted to; and I sincerely don't think he wants to. In the end, Bernie will make Nader look like Ted Kennedy, by comparison. Will Hillary overcome all this and keep Trump from soiling our great nation? If she prevails after all the crap thrown at her, she will likely go on to become one of the greatest presidents of our time. After all this abuse, coming from Republicans and Sanders, she will be seasoned and become one very formidable world leader. |

3. I don't have anyone on ignore, but I have trashed the BS group and I may trash GDP.
It's next to impossible to have any kind of reasoned discussion. I'll be very happy to see the nomination settled.

6. I was 19,000 posts in before I started using it. It's wonderful. In my case though, it's not...
...about people who represent Democracy (at least until they don't win, whereupon they announce they should be elected by acclamation), but about environmental issues, including those espoused by Mr. Sanders.

7. I remain shocked that anti-Democratic positions and rhetoric...
are so tolerated on DU.
Positive promotion of a candidate should have been our community standard, but rightwing propaganda and Hillary Hate was allowed to thrive - full well knowing Hillary was our most likely nominee! Makes no sense. This can't be allowed to continue until the end of July, can it? |

8. I don't see it ending unless someone really strong in the party
threatens him with any power he might have in the Senate. I have thought for some time now he needs to be challenged in a primary by a strong Democrat.

12. I know----I don't get it either. I like my fellow Hillary supporters in this one group. That's
the reason I come to DU. The rest of the site is depressing and sad. It should be called "Insane People Who Hate The Democratic Party Underground".

I want to see the heads explode when Hillary locks and Bernie endorses her. |
