(32,623 posts)This one has everything. CT, BernieMath, and requisite "$hillary" mention. Drink!
John Oliver still using $hillary math. John can we divide up the % of the vote that Bernie won in caucus states vs the population in said areas of those caucuses and then recalculate the popular vote?
This piece in fact does prove you are pushing the corporate agenda. Who owns HBO again? Isn't that strange?

+John Marat Do Sanders supporters ever get tired of sounding like PARODIES of Sander supporters?

(15,696 posts)Their numbers affect the outcome of a primary in a given state. How many times do we have to tell people that the general election is in November, not before. Primaries are for deciding which county and state delegates will nominate a party candidate for the national election. Period.

(20,450 posts)It's a system that makes a ton of sense.
You go into a voting booth, you vote for your candidate of choice, but then you have a SLATE of delegates from both candidates or UNCOMMITTED delegates, too. So it is absolutely possible for one to vote for Hillary Clinton and then vote for her entire slate of pledged delegates. OR...vote for Hillary and show your support for Bernie by voting for his slate of candidates and I'm sure that's happened in some cases where you're in a state like Maryland and you like Bernie but you know Hillary will win. (Not sure why a true Hillary supporter wouldn't also vote for her entire slate of delegates as well.) Anyway, I wish these pundits would stop playing into Bernie Sanders' weak-ass argument by just explaining how the system works. It's not a hard one to understand. Same on the ReThug side.

(297,154 posts)We have to remember though that Hillary played by these same rules 8 years when she lost and didn't whine.. now she's won .. same rules.
sanders knew the rules when he came in.. so it's useless for him to be whining about it. If he were winning he'd be like trump.. not whining.
