Gentlewoman from CA .@BarbaraBoxer "defends Clinton for declining debate"

Boxer is right. People are smart--they know the Sanders camp is digging in and will do anything to smear Hillary or to discredit super-delegates and anyone else who supports Hillary!

California senator defends Clinton for declining debate

By Mark Hensch

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) on Tuesday defended Hillary Clinton's decision not to participate in another debate with Bernie Sanders before California's primary.

“We’ve had nine debates,” said Boxer, a Clinton supporter, on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports." "I know everything that Bernie has to say and that Hillary has to say at a debate.

“I think everyone knows the distinctions and the differences and the parts of each of those candidates’ platforms where there’s agreement,” she added..

“People are smart. They know what’s happening. They know who stands for what and how and who. They know what’s going on.”

Clinton on Monday declined to debate Sanders in California ahead of its June 7 Democratic presidential primary.

“We believe that Hillary Clinton’s time is best spent campaigning and meeting directly with voters across California and preparing for a general election campaign that will ensure that the White House remains in Democratic hands,” communications director Jennifer Palmieri said in a statement.

Sanders, who has been pressing Clinton to debate him, blasted her decisioin on Monday..........................

by claiming that they NEED a debate so they can hear where the candidates stand. Um, they've been running for six months now. Do those Bernie people really think Californians are so stupid they've been living with their fingers in their ears?

"If people only got to know Sanders, they'd vote for him! We just need one more debate so people can see who Sanders really is!"

Actually, guys, we've gotten to know your candidate pretty well since Nevada and even better when he thought that a guy with a personal vendetta against President Obama - and not even a Democrat, I might add - was a good choice for the party platform committee.

5. I think they're mostly just praying for an indictment so Sanders can ride in on his white horse.

9. Not so much the debate itself as the venue.

Fox news? Please. Could you imagine the questions? Will you appeal the decision once your indictment is handed down? Just exactly where were you on the night Vince Foster died? Do you still maintain contact with his family? If not, why not. You get the idea.

12. Which is why Sanders accepted it. He let Fox use him as a tool for ratings so he could rant...

about Hillary "dodging" the debate, knowing full-well that Hillary wasn't going to accept.
