Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumThese last few days before the end will be the worst. Stay positive!
You're going to see a clearance sale on every spoiled conspiracy, every rotten narrative, and every moldy nitpick possible from the media for the next few days. They're going to continue to peddle headlines and articles that imply he still has a chance, because it's not like his supporters stop generating as revenue just because their candidate is still losing a primary he's been losing since March.
The big one is going to be the FBI and the Indictment Fairy. I've seen multiple pieces today reminding Sanders supporters that if their bid to overturn democracy fails during the primary process, the FBI might just step in and do it for them. This false hope may comfort them while it lasts, but it has no foundation in reality.
This is all just sound and fury, signifying nothing. In my post about not letting them steal your joy, I used a phrase that I'm continuing to share and repeat: Nothing they do now can change anything. Not. One. Thing. A crowd of permanent malcontents is mad on the internet. So what?
We have a historic nomination to begin preparing to celebrate. Eyes on the prize, everyone.

(31,505 posts)content to let the Bernie supporters have it this weekend. I'm going to be out of town, so I won't have that much time on line anyway.
I'm hoping some of this will settle down after Tuesday. I predict a big win for Hillary in CA and NJ, and then just one more week until the primaries are over. Then Skinner is going to try to clean up this mess.

(68,454 posts)I simply can not take the right wing sources and awful BSSERS...feel much more peaceful today. Rachel has been good but I used to watch O'Donnell and have stopped taping it...all he ever has on his now lame show is Republicans. The one I feel saddest about is Thom Hartman on Sirius radio and Free Speech TV whom I donate to...but Thom yesterday repeated the BSSER lie about how Hillary would not have enough delegates after the last primary. He is friends with Bernie I know that, but he out and out lied on the radio and on TV since I expect the show is shown on Free Speech TV. I really liked and respected the guy but not anymore.

(28,270 posts)before people start getting banned for that shit, finally and DU becomes a democratic party support board again, finally.
So GDP will be a sewer of hate 24/7 until then sadly.

(92,058 posts)Sanders does so much better against Trump than Hillary. That is a false flag.
Essentially Sanders has gone through this primary campaign without a single negative ad aired against him. The Clinton campaign didn't do it, and the republicans haven't done it, to build him up as a rival to Hillary.
However, if Sanders was the Democratic nominee, that popularity would start to fall when ads would be airing presenting his positions, which include higher taxes for most Americans, and big increases in government spending. You can also depend on it that Sanders past statements, such as praise for Fidel Castro, would provide lots of fodder for republican attacks. History suggests those attacks would cause his standing to drop significantly.
No, this isn't a level playing field, but we knew that before we went into this.
In fact, when any in depth interview has been given to Sanders, such as the NY Daily News interview, he couldn't deal with it. It happened during the debates. More than once when he couldn't deal with a question, he would resort to his stump speech, whether it was related to the question being asked or not.

(92,058 posts)OIG report said. Here is an assessment an the actual report:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/1107146099
In fact the OIG report is nothing new, and there is nothing mentioned about anything indictable in it.
Why the FBI has dragged this investigation on for 9 months is infuriating, and is what keeps this on the back burner.
As long as the FBI has an open investigation, Hillary cannot make any significant statement on this, and her adversaries are taking advantage of that.
Nothing in any of these reports suggest any thing criminal or indictable has occurred, and it is extremely unlikely that they will happen.
We will get through this

I feel bad for the good Bernie supporters, and there are a lot. I don't know how I'll be able to keep from gloating.
