May 26-->Poll: Donald Trump trails Hillary Clinton among Rust Belt voters

Steady as she goes..........Yet, these polls when Sanders is still hanging around are probably meaningless.

Poll: Donald Trump trails Hillary Clinton among Rust Belt voters

Donald Trump is trailing behind Hillary Clinton when it comes to support among middle-income Rust Belt voters, according to a new Bloomberg Politics poll.

The survey, released Thursday, shows that among likely voters with annual family incomes between $30,000 and $75,000 in Rust Belt states, Clinton leads Trump with a seven-point advantage: 46 percent to 39 percent among respondents in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The support for Clinton and Trump among voters in these states, however, shows a stark divide among certain demographic lines. For instance, among likely white middle-income voters (84 percent of the poll's respondents), Trump edges out Clinton by four percentage points, 44 percent to 40 percent.

Clinton, meanwhile, dominates among women by double digits (49 percent to Trump's 34 percent), while Trump leads by a smaller margin among men.

Geographically, those who live in smaller towns and rural areas throw their support to Trump, while Clinton leads in urban and suburban regions.

On presidential qualities, Clinton is far and away viewed as the candidate with the "right temperament" for the Oval Office, 49 percent to 22 percent. Clinton is also viewed as slightly more trustworthy than Trump, 29 percent to 23 percent, but about 48 percent are not sure who should be trusted more.................

So far as a poll in May goes.

What I really want to happen is for the Dem primary to be over on June 14th and possibly before.
