and his call for free stuff touched them....and many others just came to sanders as a novelty....and of course we have the extreme leftists/anarchists that want america brought down

The thing is that Bernie didn't speak to those people, because they're not on expensive campuses. Hillary's plan for college is actually a lot more tailored to the reality of young working class people (also it actually considers that those expensive 4 year colleges are kind of a waste of money - they're actually CLASS markers for middle/upper middle class people. I've talked to a LOT of younger people who would never consider community college or an online college or some other low cost option because they want the prestige and pageantry and their parents have been shoving that shit down their throat their entire lives).
