Who in the hell has been the political party that has had the welfare of the middle class in mind for decades?

The fucking useless independents (whatever that milquetoast moniker means)?

What political party passed all the great social programs? What party brought the nation the ACA? What party works constantly for equality and human and civil rights? What party works for equal pay for women? What party fights for voting rights? What party has a reality based approach to the challenges we face? What party is THE go-to party when it comes to doing the real work of making change happen, rather than just paying lip service?

It's the Democrats, you fucking asshole!

Quit trying to steal the hard-won mantle of progressive progress from the Ds who have been on the front lines for decades. Decades! Quit acting like the Ds never heard of or cared about the middle class until you came on the scene and proposed your idiotic healthcare plan that would saddle that same middle class with TRILLIONS in debt for decades to come. TRILLIONS!

Promising a bunch of politically naive kids a free college education paid for by everyone else is NOT looking out for the middle class. It's pandering. It's taking advantage of the hopes and aspirations of people who haven't before run into a snake oil sakesman.

out for the middle class? And the poor for that matter. Or was Roosevelt a Republican?

It still amazes me that the super PACs with all that money for Hillary haven't come out with ads that talk about what the Democratic party as done throughout history for the middle class, and workers and unions. If they don't remind the voters of that distinction between the parties Trump will be able to make them believe that the Democrats are actually against the middle class.
