Fitzmas
"Fitzmas" is the atmosphere of excitement and anticipation preceding the conclusion of Patrick Fitzgerald's grand jury investigation into the Bush regime's treason and perjury.
My Fitzmas list has expanded from just Scooter and Rove; I secretly hope I get a Cheney indictment or resignation because I've been a very good boy this year.

And it all came to nothing!!! I see where your reference is totally accurate.

He was sentenced to 30 months, but Shrub commuted the actual jail time and only left the fine and community service.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scooter_Libby

June 5, 2007, the presiding trial judge, Reggie B. Walton, sentenced Libby to 30 months in federal prison, a fine of $250,000, and two years of supervised release, including 400 hours of community service,[13][14][15][16] and then ordered Libby to begin his sentence immediately.[17] On July 2, 2007, when Libby's appeal of Walton's order failed, President Bush commuted Libby's 30-month prison sentence, leaving the other parts of his sentence intact.[18][19] In commuting Libby's prison term, Bush stated: "I am commuting the portion of Mr. Libby's sentence that required him to spend thirty months in prison. ... My decision to commute his prison sentence leaves in place a harsh punishment for Mr. Libby. The reputation he gained through his years of public service and professional work in the legal community is forever damaged."[ community service.

Some are, certainly, but the infiltration we've read about is no doubt here, as well. Some of them are pretty obvious about it.

Same bs...as I heard in 2000 from Nader followers in other forums...they have an intrinsic hate of America and they have aligned themselves with sanders and sanders has cultivated that relationship...the buzz words of revolution...destruction...it's all the same. Sanders ego is more important than saving our country from trump and the conservative destruction that would happen....in a convoluted way to teach us a lesson...

There's no doubt that some of them are leftists who subscribe to the "burn it down to save it" school because they've always been here. Some have been here for 15 years, spouting the same nonsense. The only thing that ever changes is the target used as a surrogate, the latest being Hillary.

At the same time, some of his more obstinate "supporters" seem to be overplaying their hands a bit, even for Sanders fans. I think there are more than a few who aren't what they appear to be. Sadly, the "real" Sanders fans aren't too good at spotting them, and hop on the crazy train just about every time.

I've long suspected that many of these posters are not really Sanders supporters, just foul-mouthed agitators. Too many remind me of the Ron Paul crew--the chaos seekers.

Thank God this will soon be over.

He's noted in the ATA forum that he disagrees with a lot of what's going on around here, but that once it was turned over to the jury system, they're pretty much letting the "community" handle it. The TOS really hasn't applied for a while now, in any form. It's basically dartboard moderating.

Obviously, that doesn't work (as he's also noted), but I don't think they've been willing enough to override some of the more obvious nonsense. There was a post earlier today broad-brushing all "establishment" (read: not Sanders) Democrats as Republicans. In the "old" days, that's a tombstone. Now, it's applauded. It was voted 2-5 leave.

In fairness, maybe there's just too much of it to handle, though that's a self-inflicted wound.

I want to be happy that we have our nominee! It's great reason to celebrate, but some just insist we pay attention to them while they are free to act and be a REAL DRAG!

I start to realize, I am an adult and a voter! I don't need to be dragged around! I made an informed decision and I voted and my candidate won!
