I got banned from the Bernie group and have been a memberof DU since 2001

I have been a contributing member here since January 2001 and today I got banned from the Bernie group. Needless to say I won't be giving a dime here for a while. After Hillary is the nominee I will see how things line out and decide if DU is worth my time. For the last six months it hasn't been.

Nobody is safe. I would imagine the ones left must be a very small group. I didn't say anything terrible about Bernie but something positive about Hillary. Shutter. I was impressed with one of her debates and said so. I was a goner immediately. Oh well.

I haven't even been on DU that long...not even 6 months. I said something that wasn't even overly critical of Bernie Sanders and bam I was banned. Many of us have been banned from that group. Most of us just posted there by accident; I know I did. In this group, if someone posts a pro Bernie or anti Hillary post they are warned that they are in the Hillary Clinton Group. Unless of course they are deliberately disruptive in which case a Group moderator may ban them without warning.

Anyway, I don't consider it a great loss to be banned from the Bernie group. I avoid that place just like I avoid the toxic GDP.

Yeah, I was pretty strong in a post or two but I have been disgusted to see the person who is going to be our only hope of keeping a psychopath out of the White House trashed incessantly on what is supposed to be a progressive forum. Hillary is going to be the nominee. It isn't wishful thinking or media hype. It's reality. She will have won it under the rules of the game. It's been ugly but it is soon going to be over.
